Ranar Hausa ta Duniya (World Hausa Day) was created by a group of young passionate cultured men led by Abdulbaki Jari in August 2015.
The sole aim of this project is to promote and project Hausa language, culture and values around the world by dedicating a single day of an all Hausa event – 26th August of every year.
The event which started on social media has now grown into a huge annual event with government, instituional and international backing. The 2025 event organized in Daura had more than 50,000 people in attendance from at least 14 countries.
